Carpe Luna means : “Catch the moon” in Latin I call him C.C for Carbon Copy since he looks just like his momma.  He is a lovely colt with a lovely large eye and a crescent moon on his cherub face.

He has a wonderful easy going mind, lovely type and uphill elastic movement.  Fly spray, a mask anything new is ok with him, he even leaves his mom to follow people around. He even stands his ground to other mares, a real love bug with people/ He is very proud and knows just how handsome he is.

Sire:
Carbid is by the famous Holsteiner stallion, Calypso II, and out of a full-sister to the famous Hanoverian stallion, Grundstein.  Carbid produces horses of substance with superb movements, particularly the canter, and outstanding jumping ability.  His offspring also possess great charm, and wonderful minds.  Carbid’s daughter, Carmina Burana, was a German National Champion Mare in 1998, 1999, and 2000. His offspring have excelled at jumping as well as dressage.His currently has three stallion sons.

Carbid’s sire: Calypso II was an advanced level show jumper with Michael R¸ping and sire of many international jumpers and dressage horses. It was through him that the jumping line of Cor de le Bryere was introduced into Hanoverian breeding.Calypso II is also the sire of Contender who was ranked third in the list of the world’s best show jumping sires in 2004. His son Contendro  was winner of his 100 day test with 144.70 pts

Carbid’s dam: Grundlage is by Graphit. Graphit is the sire to the famous grand prix jumping stallion Grannus .Graphit is the dam sire to the jumping stallion Pilot, who sired Pablo and many other grand prix offspring. Graphit’s sire Grande is on the Germans eternal top 10 list of sire, he produced many offspring that excelled in jumping and dressage all the way to grand prix.

Grundstein I was trained up to grand prix level in dressage. He had high breeding scores of 178 in dressage and 142 in jumping. His offspring went on to grand prix jumping and dressage.
Grundstein II is the dam sire of Rubin Royal a premium rated dressage stallion.Like his full brother he produced jumpers and dressage horses up to the highest levels.
These stallion represent some of the finest in jumping and dressage breeding, Senator, Grande, Gotthard. This line has many many SPS (elite) mares in the first 3 generations.
